Deeds of, or related to, the De Peyster family (1701-1852), including indentures, abstracts of titles, and land surveys for property chiefly in New York State. Also several college notebooks of Frederick De Peyster, Peter Mackie and others for ancient geography, belles lettres, and physics; two personal notebooks, one probably belonging to Frederick; a notebook containing satiric addresses; and a list of subscribers to a New Year's Eve gathering in New York in 1827. Frederick De Peyster and John Watts are among the many names appearing on the deeds.
